Dennis L. Howay (1950 - 2002)

Dennis L. Howay, 51, of Kawkawlin, Michigan, a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War, a member of First Pentecostal Church, passed away at Covenant Health Care-Cooper in Saginaw, Michigan, on the evening of Monday, October 7, 2002. Calling hours are scheduled for Wednesday, October 9, 2002, 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., at Gephart Funeral Home, Inc., 201 West Midland Street, Bay City, Michigan. Further visitation is scheduled for Thursday, October 10, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., at the funeral home. Lying in state on Friday, October 11, 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., at First Pentecostal Church. Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, 12:30 p.m., at the church, officiated by Pastor Michael D. Wood. Interment will follow at Floral Gardens Cemetery. He was a paratrooper with the 82nd Airborne stationed at Fort Bragg, NC for 18-months of his 2-years of active duty.
