Kenneth Floyd Kisser

Kisser, Kenneth F. AuGres, Michigan Beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 2, 2016, at his home. Age 66 years. Kenneth was born March 2, 1950, in Saginaw, the son of the late Floyd and Donna (Heidenblut) Kisser. He graduated from Douglas MacArthur High School with the Class of 1968. He served with the US Army in the Vietnam War. He received his Associate Degree in Criminal Justice from Delta College and later completed study at the Earl F. DeMarse Corrections Academy in Lansing. He had been employed at Saginaw Control and Baker Perkins before being employed as a Corrections Officer with the State of Michigan Department of Corrections. He was a member of American Legion Post #104 in Standish. He was a passionate outdoorsman, enjoying hunting and fishing with his sons. He married Sandra L. Wisniewski, who predeceased him February 19, 2012. Surviving are three sons, Kenneth (Amy) Kisser, Patrick (Theresa) Kisser, and Christopher (Melissa) Kisser; six granddaughters, Nichole, Jamie, Brooke, Allyson, Erin and Kori; two sisters and one brother, Marsha (James) Engelhardt, Karen (Joseph) Hatzke and Floyd "Duke" (Sue) Kisser; his parents-in-law, Frank and Edith Wisniewski; two brothers-in-law, Dennis (Colette) Wisniewski and Brian (Sharon) Wisniewski; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and their families. Funeral service will take place at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, November 8, 2016, at the W. L. Case & Company Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Road, where his family will receive friends from 3:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Monday, and then on Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. Rev. Fr. Robert DeLand will officiate with committal in Chapel Hill Cemetery and military honors. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society.
