Lynn Marie Engel (Markert)

Saginaw, MI - Lynn Marie Engel (Markert) passed away on Monday, February 24, 2020 surrounded by her family. She was born November 8, 1949 in Saginaw to the late Casper II and Margaret (Pope) Markert. She married Daniel Carl Engel on June 28, 1969 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Saginaw.

Lynn is survived by her husband of 50 years, as well as their four children, Kristi Engel, Holli McNicholl (Michael), Justin Engel (Lindsay), and Amanda Mead (Thomas); 10 grandchildren; five siblings, Margaret Powis (Jeff), Casper Markert III, Mary Ann Baringer, Betty Brinigar (Tim), and John Markert (Connie); many nieces and nephews, and countless kingdom friends.

She was a dedicated member of the West Saginaw Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses and will be fondly remembered by all for her joy in her faith, love of travel, sewing and gardening, and adoration of her family.
