Kumm, Alan “Al”

Mr. Kumm, age 66, died on Sunday October 16, 2016.  Alan was born in Livonia, Michigan on April 14, 1950 to the late Albert and Delores (Super) Kumm.  Al loved to skeet shoot, do photography and was always interested in any new electronic gadgets. He served his country in the US Navy during the Vietnam War.  He worked for Johnson Controls as a computer tech for 29 years and then worked for 7 years at the Midland Center for the Arts.  Al was a very gentle and kind man and was a good friend to all he knew.  Mr. Kumm is survived by his brother Mark (Pam) Kumm of Saginaw, and his sister Linda (Jim) Kumm of Manistique, Michigan.  Also many uncles and cousins survive.  He was preceded in death by his brother Dave.  Special thank you to Reverence Hospice nurses and especially Jeanne for their loving care.  A Private family service will be held.  Those considering  an expression of sympathy are asked to consider memorial contributions to the Humane Society or any animal group of the donor’s choice.
